Field
The
City of Johnsonville along with Florence County Recreational
Department provides many opportunities for recreational sports
for your child. Currently several sports are offered throughout
the year including soccer, football, cheerleading, basketball,
baseball, and softball. |
Track
Field
The
City of Johnsonville has recreational programs for all ages.
A state of the art, soft turf track field is located in the
city. The track field is used by the public as well as the
school district for our track and field teams. The well lit
track field is maintained for comfort and safe walking or
jogging anytime of the day or night.
The
Johnsonville community along with its neighboring town Hemingway
host an annual Relay for Life held each May at the track field
in Johnsonville. |

Tennis
Courts
A
six court tennis area is located about one block from the
track field. The courts are lighted and provided as a free
service to area citizens. Also, located across the street
from the tennis courts is a newly designed playground.

Park
The
City of Johnsonville has a City Park featuring a modern
play-ground. Items include Noah’s Ark, sliding boards,
hobby horses, swings, a merry-go-round, and a large Jungle
Jim. The park also features grills and picnic areas that
can be enjoyed by the entire family.
