Haselden graduated from Johnsonville High School in 1982 and Florence-Darlington Tech in 1985.    She will serve on the Water and Sewer, Public Safety and Planning & Economic Development committees.

A member of Hemingway First United Methodist Church, Haselden participates in choir and plays the piano when needed.  She is married to Brett Haselden and they have two daughters, Jacy and Raven.

The ceremony took place during the regular meeting of the Johnsonville City Council.  Council also held a public hearing and second reading of the 2019-2020 fiscal year budget.   The budget was approved with the addition of a $8,000 contribution to the Johnsonville Rescue Squad.

Representatives from The Wooten Company presented results of a water and sewer rate study to members of Council at the meeting.

In other business, City Council signed a resolution to formally initiate a Facade Improvement Grant Program in July.  The program will match funds up to $2,500 spent to improve the appearance of commercial building on East and West Broadway Street.

The next meeting of Johnsonville City Council will be Tuesday, July 2 at 6:30 p.m.
